You decide to be very comprehensive in your examination. Sarah-Jane is not impressed and starts crying very loudly. Ruth tells you that she has been like this all day - doesn't want to be disturbed.

You look all over her skin and see a small scar in the mid axilliary line on the right - Ruth tells you that she had a pipe in there for a collapsed lung. You also notice a couple of bruises on her back. You ask Ruth about this and she tells you that she fell backwards onto some toys a couple of days ago.

You look into her eyes - amide much crying and spot a small conjunctival haemorrhage.
