Research

Jonathan is a Clinical Academic with many research interests and areas of practice, especially in the field of Medical Education. His clinical research work has involved topics close to paediatrics and intensive care. His output in the field of medical education has examined the processes, practices and output of teaching and training.

Jonathan leads Metro, a research group comprised of medical students and doctors in training. Now located as far afield as Aukland, Melbourne, Boston and Tooting, Metro works on projects in physician health, patient safety, intensive care, oncology and medical training.

Jonathan is the editor of London Paediatrics, an online publication showcasing the work of students, trainees and others. Recent editions can be found here.

Some might say that peer reviewed publications are not the only or even the best way to disseminate useful findings, or to communicate with an audience. Jonathan has been active in helping set up a Paediatric FOAM site , creating numerous internet resources (below) and producing educational Video.
